About Me
I know that finding a therapist can be challenging and finding the right match is important. I aim to foster a safe and non-judgmental environment with the goal of doing what can be difficult work - finding new ways of relating to ourselves and others in the service of a flourishing life. We all deserve the opportunity to live healthier and more meaningful lives.
More About My Practice
I come to therapy from an existential-humanistic approach that is rooted in a philosophical understanding of basic concerns that motivate us all as people. Additionally, I draw from a number of approaches, including a psychodynamic understanding of the person, a focus on the significance of family (and other) systems, as well as experiential and emotionally-focused approaches to therapy.
My Specialties
I work with couples and individuals. I work with individuals experiencing relational stressors, changes of life, anxiety, and depression. I often work with men experiencing the loneliness that can follow from having difficulty connecting emotionally to themselves and others.
