About Me
Relationships have the power to shape how we see ourselves, connect with others, and navigate life's challenges. They can also be a source of pain, disconnection, and recurring conflict. As a therapist, I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to explore these experiences with honesty, curiosity, and compassion.
My approach is collaborative, warm, and grounded in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that helps couples understand negative relationship patterns, improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection. Together, we'll explore what may be getting in the way of the relationship you want and develop new ways of connecting with yourself and each other.
My goal is to create a supportive space where both partners feel heard, understood, and empowered to build a more secure and fulfilling relationship.
My Specialties
My current focus is on working with couples in weekly therapy, specifically using the Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) model. Other areas of significant clinical training and practice that inform this work are in the expressive art therapies (writing, visual art, and embodied techniques), as well as Brainspotting, a neuroexperiential trauma treatment modality.
