About Me

I am passionate about helping others grow and change. My intention is to provide a safe, supportive and affirming space, where you feel heard, understood, and valued. Working together, we will discover your needs, strengths, and goals for making changes needed for living your best life. You will find that change is totally within reach as you develop improved coping skills, practice new ways of thinking, learn how to manage difficult emotions, and change behavior patterns. It is an honor for me to guide clients in their transformation, leading towards a more satisfying, fulfilling, and meaningful existence for themselves.

More About My Practice

For over 30 years I have provided therapy for adolescents, adults, couples, families and groups. I use an integrative approach to therapy, selecting concepts and techniques from Psychoanalytic theory, Attachment theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Interpersonal Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. As a 500-hour Registered Yoga instructor with the Yoga Alliance, I am passionate about incorporating body-centered awareness, breath work, movement and mindfulness into treatment. Additionally, I support those who wish to re-connect or deepen their personal spirituality as an aspect of their healing journey, Furthermore, as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, I am keen to notice addictive tendencies, whether it be addictions to work, food, substances, spending, over-thinking or the “ego construct” or notion of “self.” I work with clients to move away from over-attachment or addictions, and towards inner peace and a centered, calm presence of body, mind, and soul.
