About Me

While the reasons behind your decision to seek therapy are multifaceted, underling most of these reasons is the desire for change. Achieving change can be extremely gratifying despite the challenges and discomfort that can come with the process. A strong therapeutic relationship grounds my work with clients, and I develop this through careful listening, empathy, and a sincere desire to understand each person’s experience. Creating an atmosphere of safety and understanding serves as the basis for our work to identify the ares of your life you want to change, and we work together to navigate the unexpected challenges, insights and emotions that may arise in therapy.

More About My Practice

I think of the therapeutic process as a collaboration, and I will utilize your strengths and personal values to achieve desired, mutually agreed upon goals. I draw on my years of clinical experience and utilize an integrative approach that includes insight oriented, cognitive, and psychodynamic approaches and interventions. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and groups.

My Specialties

I have provided treatment in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. I have experience with clients seeking a broad spectrum of presenting concerns. My focus is on working with adults seeking therapy for the treatment of anxiety, mood disorders, grief and loss, life transitions, men’s issues, relationship concerns, substance abuse disorders, and OCD.
