About Me

I believe therapy should feel thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating trauma, grief, identity-related struggles, chronic stress, or periods of feeling disconnected from themselves or others.

I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels warm, trauma-informed, and nonjudgmental — a space where people can safely explore difficult experiences, better understand themselves, and move toward greater healing, resilience, and connection.

More About My Practice

My work integrates evidence-based trauma treatment with relational and meaning-centered approaches to care. Depending on the needs of the individual, I may draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, and trauma-informed interventions such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE).

I completed advanced clinical training within the VA healthcare system, where I worked extensively with Veterans experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, grief, substance use concerns, moral injury, and major life transitions. In addition to my clinical work, I am also a researcher and educator whose work focuses on belonging, identity, trauma, and psychological wellbeing.

My Specialties

My clinical interests and areas of focus include anxiety, stress, and trauma. I’m also particularly interested in life transitions and meaning making around identity and belonging.
