About Me
When I reflect on my work in the field of professional helping, I continue to feel inspired by the strength, resilience, and endurance displayed by individuals both before beginning therapy and throughout the therapeutic process. Although many people enter therapy while carrying pain, stress, or hardship, I believe there is always potential for greater fulfillment, healing, and growth. I am passionate about providing effective, compassionate therapy grounded in openness, curiosity, and collaboration as we explore the struggles you feel ready to address.
More About My Practice
My approach to therapy is collaborative, integrative, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual. While my work is firmly grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I also incorporate interventions and perspectives from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
In addition, I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy for obsessive compulsive disorder. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that emphasizes client strengths, values, culture, and ongoing feedback throughout the treatment process.
While I may serve as the professional guide within therapy, I believe you are the expert on yourself. Together, we work to identify meaningful and realistic changes that fit within your life and support your long-term goals.
