Reconnect. Strengthen Your Bond. Transform Your Relationship.

Do you find yourselves having the same arguments over and over again?

Have you begun feeling more like roommates than partners?

Would you like to communicate more effectively, rebuild trust, and feel closer to one another?

The Hold Me Tight® Couples Workshop is designed to help couples create deeper emotional connection, improve communication, and strengthen their relationship in a supportive, structured environment.

Based on Dr. Sue Johnson's bestselling book Hold Me Tight: Seven Conversations for a Lifetime of Love, this relationship workshop teaches couples the core principles of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)—the gold standard, evidence-based approach to couples therapy and relationship counseling.

Through guided exercises, video presentations, facilitated discussions, and private conversations with your partner, you'll learn how to:

  • Break free from negative communication patterns

  • Reduce conflict and misunderstandings

  • Better understand your own and your partner's emotions

  • Rebuild trust and emotional safety

  • Strengthen intimacy and connection

  • Create a more secure, loving relationship

Whether your relationship is struggling or simply ready to grow, Hold Me Tight® provides practical tools and meaningful experiences that help couples feel more connected, understood, and supported.

Led by an Expert in Emotionally Focused Therapy

The workshop is led by Andrea Medeiros, Psy.D., a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist and Director of the Center for Relationships at Psychology Specialists of Maine.

Andrea will guide you through a proven process that helps couples understand the patterns that create distance and discover new ways of reaching for one another that foster closeness, trust, and lasting connection.

A Safe, Comfortable, and Private Experience

Many couples worry they will be asked to share personal details in front of a group. There is no expectation that participants disclose private information to other attendees.

The most important conversations happen privately between you and your partner. We prioritize comfort, confidentiality, and emotional safety throughout the weekend.

We warmly welcome couples of all backgrounds, ages, faiths, relationship structures, sexual orientations, and gender identities.

Invest in the Relationship That Matters Most

Strong relationships do not happen by accident. They require intention, understanding, and the ability to stay connected during life's challenges.

Join us for a transformative weekend and discover why thousands of couples worldwide have used the Hold Me Tight® program to strengthen their relationship and create lasting love.

Space is limited. Register today to reserve your spot.

What to Expect

The workshop combines brief presentations, video demonstrations, guided exercises, and private conversations with your partner.

Throughout the weekend, you will participate in seven structured conversations designed to help you:

  • Recognize and change negative relationship patterns

  • Understand what drives conflict and disconnection

  • Identify the emotions and needs beneath reactions

  • Improve communication and emotional responsiveness

  • Rebuild trust and emotional safety

  • Strengthen intimacy and connection

  • Affirm the strengths in your relationship

Workshop leaders and trained facilitators are available throughout the weekend to support couples during exercises.

Will We Have to Share with the Group?

No.

The Hold Me Tight® Workshop is an educational relationship workshop—not group therapy. Most of the work takes place privately between you and your partner.

While there are opportunities for optional group discussion, there is never any requirement to share personal information. We prioritize privacy, comfort, and emotional safety throughout the weekend.
