About Me
I've always been fascinated by what drives people and what motivates real change. Every person I work with brings their own unique story, struggles, and hopes for what therapy can offer them. My priority is creating a space where you feel completely comfortable being honest about what's really going on in your life. I'm pretty straightforward in my approach while keeping things warm and supportive—I think genuine change happens when we can tackle the hard stuff together without any judgment.
More About My Practice
As a third-year doctoral psychology student, I'm constantly learning and growing in this field, which I love. I got my start working directly with kids and families in residential and hospital settings, eventually moving into leadership roles where I ran programs providing intensive support to families involved with child protective services. Now, working under supervision at Psychology Specialists of Maine, I'm focused on developing my clinical skills while staying committed to learning. My generalist training has taught me to bring cultural awareness into everything I do, recognizing how each person's background, identity, and community experiences shape their path through therapy.
My Specialties
I work with adults across all life stages, including young adults figuring out independence and older adults navigating major life changes. People come to me dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship problems, work stress, and anger issues. I also see folks who want to better understand their emotional patterns or are interested in personal growth and self-discovery. I work with clients from diverse backgrounds and have particular experience supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and families facing child-related crises. Whether you're dealing with specific symptoms, relationship challenges, major transitions, or simply want to live more authentically, my goal is helping you build a life that truly reflects your values and aspirations.
