About Me

Making the decision to seek help for your mental health is a big step. My goal in your treatment is to get to know you and dynamically approach your concerns together. Making new habits and creating new ways of thinking about things you have been struggling with is hard, and as your therapist it is my job to both support and challenge you on your road to recovery.

More About My Practice

I work with adults in individual and group therapy. My theoretical orientation for therapy is primarily cognitive behavioral in nature, but I understand that every individual is different and can benefit from an individualized treatment plan. I will often fuse cognitive behavioral principles with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other approaches (e.g., prolonged exposure therapy (PE), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), cognitive behavior therapy for insomnia (CBT-I)) to treat PTSD to fully address your concerns.

My Specialties

I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma. This may include working with individuals with PTSD, however, I also work with individuals with a wide range of concerns including sleep disturbance, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, depression, substance use, and interpersonal difficulties.
